Poem for May 12

Radha-Govinda

Radha-Govinda reciprocate with us on this special day.
It’s Nrsimha Caturdasi and Radha-Govinda
are dressed in a new
change of outfits. It
was done by my reconnected
disciple, Tusta Krishna. He is
the Temple President of Denver and the
pujara for their Chota Radha Govinda,
so he knows how to do it well.
He put Them in a spring,
pink outfit with profuse
floral designs. Govinda’s lotus feet
are exposed, and He has anklets of
blue and a fancy
blue turban. Radharani wears
a crown of blue jewels
and holds a tulasi branch
in Her hand.
Tusta Krishna has done an
exceptionally good job,
and I am happy to see Them
so beautifully presented
on this auspicious day when
extra devotees will be able to receive
Their darsana. I will get a chance
to speak about Radha-Govinda
and make special glorification
of Lord Nrsimha on the occasion
of His appearance day.
I am grateful They all reside
with us at Viraha Bhavan.
