Poem for Jun 06

Radha-Govinda

Radha-Govinda reciprocate with me.
Radha-Govinda, You are the summum bonum –
the highest, worshipable Deity.
But I also like the Deities of
Prabhupada and Gaura-Nitai. You are
all very merciful and beautiful.
Yesterday, Baladeva cleaned and changed
the dress of Radha-Govinda. He
took a long time, but he did it well.
They are wearing a tan outfit
with big parrots embroidered
on it. Radharani has a male
and female parrot facing each other
on the front of Her expansive skirt.
Govinda has parrots also.
Radharani holds a small, red rosebud
in Her left hand, and She offers
Govinda a tulasi manjari
in Her right hand. They both
wear matching cloth crowns.
Govinda’s has a peacock feather on top,
and Radharani’s is shaped like a candrika.
The mukut walla, Tapan, is
a cut above the rest. Radha-Govinda
appreciate his work. We will post
Their pictures on Facebook so
our readers can appreciate too.
I am grateful Radha-Govinda
reside with me in Viraha Bhavan.
