The men transferred the books
that were brought from Philadelphia
and put them into storage.
They discovered some of my books
which had been unseen for 25 years,
including a rare cache of Japa Reform Notebook.
Yesterday, all the inmates
of Viraha Bhavan went to the local dairy
and had ice cream cones.
Young Filippo and I
chose the same flavor, chocolate.
Kaliya said he didn’t eat ice cream,
but Baladeva induced him to take a little.
Rama Raya is taking full advantage
of his break from the intensity of harinama
in the City by staying at Stuyvesant Falls.
He takes extra rest
and enjoys sitting in a chair under a tree
in the yard.
He also goes to the park and does his japa
watching the sun set.
We are pleased that he likes to
take shelter occasionally
at Viraha Bhavan before
returning to harinama in Union Square
six hours a day, seven days a week.
