Baladeva is away for a few days
and the new men made some mistakes
in administering my wake-up rituals at 1:00 A.M.
I had to personally direct them
to crush the medicine with a mortar and pestle
and how much water to use.
Baladeva from Trinidad is a little familiar
with the routine, but Kaliya Damana
is newer and was making notes in a pad.
When they went to wake up the Deities
they forgot to bow down and say
Prabhupada’s praṇāma mantras.
They also put Prabhupada’s pavitra
silk garland on backwards. But
for the most part, it went all right –
they came up on time at 1:00 A.M.
Now my radio batteries are dead
and I don’t know how to call them.
I think I will try to contact them at 5:00 A.M.
and have them replace the dead radio.
