Poem for Jul 19

Radha-Govinda

Radha-Govinda reciprocate with me.
Radha-Govinda, last night Rama Raya
(who is visiting us from the NYC harinama party)
expertly cleaned and dressed You
in a new set of clothes from
Tappan in Vrindavana
donated by Sastra.
You are wearing yellow
with red and blue
embroidery on the borders.
Radharani offers a small pearl garland
to Govinda, and carries a
peacock fan in Her left hand.
Govinda is wearing an elaborate cloth
crown, with two peacock feathers atop.
They look lovely – appropriate
for summertime.
The change of dress
is a festival day.
I am grateful Radha-Govinda
reside with me at Viraha Bhavan.
