Celebrating the 87th Vyāsa-pūjā of Satsvarūpa Dāsa Goswāmī Mahārāja
Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda. Join Godbrothers, Godsisters, disciples, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating Guru Mahārāja’s life of devotion, service, and writing — online, in your own community, and through his books.
Gathering around him with our hearts

This year we would like to offer Guru Mahārāja something especially meaningful: a joyful report of many of his books being purchased and shared around the world in honor of his 87th Vyāsa-pūjā. From now until December 5, every disciple, friend, supporter, and well-wisher is invited to take part according to their means.
Consider purchasing a book you have not yet read, gifting one to a friend or family member, or distributing several copies within your community during the upcoming gift-giving season. Guru Mahārāja has devoted so much of his life to writing, sharing his realizations, and encouraging others in their spiritual journeys. What better way to honor him than by helping his books reach more hearts?
A beautifully illustrated book guide has been prepared, featuring 25 recommended titles with clickable purchase links, including recent publications and other books he particularly recommends. New books for Vyāsa-pūjā
Offer your Vyāsa-pūjā homage
An intimate, personal gift to the spiritual master on his Vyāsa-pūjā day is to write an homage — a short note or essay of appreciation — in celebration of one’s fortunate connection with this great soul as Godbrother, disciple, friend, reader, or acquaintance.
Everyone whose life Satsvarūpa Mahārāja has touched in some way — through personal association, his teachings, books, poems, art, recordings, postcards, or website — is invited to offer a heartfelt message of affection, praise, or glorification of this most intimate servant of Śrīla Prabhupāda, Kṛṣṇa, and the paramparā. The invitation is open to all members of the devotee community and to anyone who feels they have had meaningful association with Mahārāja.
Offerings received by November 21, 2026 will be compiled into a full-color birthday book presented to Satsvarūpa Mahārāja on his birthday.

Celebrate together in your community
Guru Mahārāja is always enlivened by devotees gathering to celebrate Vyāsa-pūjā. For many years, Ramila Mataji has organized wonderful celebrations in Australia, bringing devotees together for kīrtana, homages, and prasādam. Her example reminds us that physical distance need not diminish our connection with Guru Mahārāja.
Guru Mahārāja encourages devotees around the world to organize similar gatherings, as many of you are already doing. Whether in temples, homes, or local communities, these celebrations offer a beautiful opportunity to remember his service, read from his books, and share our appreciation together.
One Guru Mahārāja, one worldwide family, one heartfelt offering. Thank you for your continued love, prayers, and service. Your servants, Free Write Journal
