Radha-Govinda, I have completed my sixteen rounds
and writing and dictating my Japa
Report. Now I cannot sustain
any more darsana of You.
My eyes are tired and strained;
looking at You produces
only pain and blurry vision.
Maybe later this morning
after a nap and shower,
I will be able to recover
and gaze at You again.
I see You within my heart
as Paramatma of Radha-Govinda.
Lilasuka (Bilvamangala Thakura)
was physically blind,
but saw You in this way
within. The
Brahma-samhita states the
devotee whose eyes are
anointed with the salve
of love, sees the form of
Syamasundar in his heart.”
At times like now, when
I am physically
impeded, I pray
for the inner vision
of Radha-Govinda.
