Poem for Jul 06

Personal Stanza

Rasesvari is here for a few days at Viraha Bhavan.
I have been discussing with her
about the production of Looking Back, Volume 2.
I want to have it published by Vyasa-puja 2017.
This means we are working on a tight schedule.
Rasesvari is very organized and sharp.
We are presently working with two typists,
but Nandarani in the past was managing
two other typists and we are planning to turn
to them to speed up the work. There is
typing, proofreading, editing,
approval of the editing by me, then
sending the polished manuscript to Saci-suta’s men
to lay out as a regular book to be published by
the On Demand Publishing Company.
That means the early stages have to be
completed by August or September
for us to meet our deadline.
We also usually employ Rupa Vilasa Prabhu
to do a proofreading/editing service. That
usually takes three weeks. So we are actually
on a marathon with this book.

Yesterday we went again to the dairy store,
the whole crew, including seven-year-old Filippo.
And everyone ordered the ice cream of their taste.
Filippo and I chose chocolate cones. We are
going to continue this while Rasesvari is here.
It is a fun family outing.
