You can’t lose in chanting Hare Krishna. Even a miss is a gain. Even though I am only going through the motions and sastra tells us that such mechanical chanting doesn’t attract Krishna, yet it is the best I can do right now. I offer it to Him with a sincere apology, and I continue making my offering.

I admit my chanting is mechanical
but say it is
the best I can do
now. And “even
a miss is a gain.”
The maha-mantra
is so merciful and
powerful that even
when chanted with imperfection,
it brings you progress.
It is best to go on
making your offering,
with sincere apology.
